How to Reach?

  • From Madurai (Distance approx 450km, 8-9 hours travelling time)
  • Start from Madurai: Head northeast on NH44 (also known as Madurai-Chennai Highway).
  • Enter Chennai via NH44: As you approach Chennai on NH44, you will pass through Chengalpattu and Tambaram. Continue on NH44, which becomes the Grand Southern Trunk Road (GST Road).
  • Head Towards Pammal: After passing Tambaram, look for signs to Pammal. Take the Pammal Bypass Road to avoid heavy traffic in the city center.
  • Proceed to Kundrathur: From Pammal, follow signs for Kundrathur. You will need to take the Kundrathur Main Road (also called CIT Nagar Road).
  • Reach Chennai Institute of Technology: Once on Kundrathur Main Road, the college is located near the Kundrathur Bus Stand.

  • Staff Experience: The number of inexperienced staff is higher than experienced staff.
  • Teaching Methods and Exams: Teaching methods and frequent examinations are a concern for some students.
  • Canteen and Food: The canteen is small, and students often need to bring their own food. The quality of canteen food is poor, with no improvement over the years. Hostel food is also reported to be below average.
  • Sports and Physical Education: Sports opportunities are limited, with little room for development. Physical education is not given priority in the college.
